What a brand is — and what is just a logo
A logo is a signature. A brand is what people feel when they see that signature — and the reason they will pay more with you than with a competitor. Branding is the work of making that feeling intentional, consistent and recognisable everywhere.
A good brand has a clear position (who you are for and how you differ), a tone of voice, a visual system (logo, colours, typography, photography, pattern) and rules for using it — from an Instagram post to a van on the street.
